Dr. Thomas M. Langdon
In 2011 and until the present Dr. Langdon has served as the superintendent of Sturgis (Michigan) Public Schools. During this time Dr. Langdon has been a member of the Michigan Association of School Administrator’s school reform team (Lead Forward). Dr. Langdon has also worked closely with staff to implement large-scale technology initiatives, including a 1:1 iPad initiative at Sturgis High School. Dr. Langdon has also incorporated several successful technology pilots and subsequent programs at all levels. At all of the districts in which Dr. Langdon has served as superintendent he has taken special interest in developing richer teacher and administrator evaluations and formative assessments that our focused on making it easier and more efficient for teachers to assess student progress. Dr. Langdon has served in the education field for 27 years; 15 of which at the superintendent level. Dr. Langdon earned his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Central Michigan University; completing and publishing his Doctoral Dissertation- “Establishing the Environment for Educational Change: Selected Elements for Public School Superintendents”.
