Professor Noah W. Sobe
Professor Noah W. Sobe (PhD. Wisconsin-Madison) is Associate Professor and Program Chair of the Cultural and Educational Policy Studies and International Higher Education programs in the School of Education at Loyola University Chicago. He is a comparative education researcher, editor of the journal “European Education” and a board member of the International Standing Conference on the History of Education (ISCHE) as well as the Comparative and International Education Society (CIES).
Professor Sobe is the author of two books and over 25 chapters and journal articles which have appeared in publications such as “Educational Theory”, “Current Issues in Comparative Education”, “History of Education”, and the “Harvard Education Review”. At present he is working on a book that will be a history of boredom in school.
