Dr. Mark Fredisdorf
Dr. Mark Fredisdorf is serving in his 13th year as Superintendent of Schools at Pleasantdale School District 107 in Burr Ridge, Illinois. Previous administrative positions have included Assistant Superintendent for Instruction, Director of Staff Development and Gifted Programs, and Strategic Planning Coordinator. His international positions include serving as a teacher in Greece, Belgium, and Japan; and Special Assistant to the Headmaster at the American Embassy School in New Delhi, India. Dr. Fredisdorf has provided strategic planning facilitation and training to schools in China, India, Pakistan and the United States. He has also provided volunteer training and consultation to the Tibetan Children’s Villages serving refugee children in India. As an Administrative Consultant for the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, Dr. Fredisdorf worked directly with urban schools providing expertise in instructional practices, school improvement planning, and evaluation.
