Kunle OloruntegbeBiography 

Dr Kunle Oke Oloruntegbe, a Senior Lecturer in the Science and Technical Education, Adekunle Ajasin University was born on 18th June, 1953. A Fellow of the Science Teachers Association of Nigeria, FSTAN, he has B.Ed in Chemistry from Ahmadu Bello Univeristy, Zaria, Nigeira in 1983; M Ed and Ph D Curriculum in Science from University of Benin, Benin-City, Nigeria in 1991 and 2001 respectively. He taught in Secondary schools and Colleges of Education in Ondo State, Nigeria for fifteen years, between 1984 and 2001 and joined the services of the present university, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria since 2001, only left for sabbatical to the Department of Mathematics and Science Education in University of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2009/2010 session. He had served in various capacities as Coordinator of Pre Degree Education, Head of the Science and Technical Education from 2006 to 2008 and Acting Director of the Institute of Education from 2011 to 2014 among others.

Attended international conferences, 21st and 22nd Bi-ennial conferences of Chemical Education in University of North Texas, Denton and Penn State University, Pennsylvania, United States in 2010 and 2012 respectively; 5th and 7th Canada International Conference on Education, University of Toronto, Canada and a host of others in Africa. His research areas include methodology of science delivery in the classroom – working on difference levels of inquiry and use 3D environment and virtual realities in chemistry teaching and learning. Of late he is into green chemistry and environmental sustainability where he had presented a number of papers and symposia in international conferences culminating in the establishment and coordination of Green African Initiatives for Sustainable Environment. He had published about sixty articles in reputable local and international journals which include Journal of Chemical Education and International Journal of Physical Sciences.  He belongs to a number of learned associations and societies which include Science Teachers Association of Nigeria, National Association of Curriculum Theorists, National Association of Science Educators and Researchers, National Association for the Advancement of Knowledge, Commonwealth Association for Science, Technology and Mathematics Education and American Chemical Society
