Dr. Lynda Leavitt
Dr. Lynda Leavitt is an Associate Professor at Lindenwood University, School of Education Department of Educational Leadership. Lynda’s previous experience includes serving as an elementary classroom teacher, a middle school and special education administrator in school districts within the state of Missouri. Lynda’s research and publication interests are within the field of 21st Century skills and knowledge, global education and international comparative education. She is currently conducting a higher education longitudinal study to measure student’s global perspective. Dr. Leavitt received her doctorate degree from Saint Louis University in Educational Leadership and has earned her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, Master of International Studies, Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. Lynda also serves as Editor for the online peer reviewed Journal of Educational Leadership in Action (ELA), published by Lindenwood University Press.
