As Dean of School of Education, I oversee eight departments with sixty-four (64) lecturers who teach courses in various aspects of education to about  ten thousand(10,000) students at different levels of Certificate and Degree Programmes. I also oversee the Teaching Practice Committee of the College that organizes the  students’ teaching practice exercise that takes place at the end of every academic session. The Dean is the chairman of the Board of the College’s Nursery and Primary school, thereby overseeing the affairs of the school. As member of the College Management Committee, the Dean of the School of Education is involved in the management of the affairs of the College. The effective training of student –teachers is one of the responsibilities of the Dean of Education.
