Dr. Christian J. Anderson, Sr.
Dr. Christian Anderson is a mathematics educator with over fifteen years of experience. Dr. Anderson has taught mathematics content courses at levels ranging from middle school mathematics to advanced calculus, and mathematics methods courses for education majors. As an administrator, Dr. Anderson has worked at the middle and high school levels, and at the central office administrative level. His research interests are in the areas of teacher beliefs, student persistence, and effective mathematics instruction for students of color. He is currently the District Coordinator of the Office of AVID / College Board with Baltimore County Public Schools in Maryland. A native of Philadelphia, Dr. Anderson holds an Ed. D in Mathematics Education from Morgan State University, a M.A. in Leadership in Teaching from Notre Dame University of Maryland (formerly College of Notre Dame of Maryland), and a B. S. in Mathematics from Morgan State University.
