Amy McCormack, Ed.D.
Dr. Amy McCormack is the Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration of Dominican University. She is the chief finance and operating officer responsible for finances & budgeting, facilities, risk management, human resources and auxiliary services. She has overseen an intensive construction period, which has included over a $100 million in facility improvements, the purchase of another campus, and nearly doubling the building square footage of the university. Dr. McCormack plays a key role in strategic planning and is responsible for the development of the long-term financial plan and the campus master plan, which includes a commitment to sustainability, both economic and environmental. She has played an active role in developing the first sustainability plan for the local community of Oak Park and River Forest.
Prior to joining Dominican University, Ms. McCormack was an audit manager with Deloitte. She received her BA in accounting from Indiana University and a MBA from Dominican University with dual concentrations in finance and marketing. She is a CPA and holds a doctorate in higher education from the University of Pennsylvania. Her dissertation and research interest is focused on leadership of internationalization on college campuses. Dr. McCormack and her family have hosted over 15 international students in partnership with ELS Language Schools.
